Inspire selected to provide competency assessment services for College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Inspire Global Assessments is proud to announce it has been chosen to deliver competency assessment services for internationally educated registered nurses seeking licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
Recognizing the diversity in nursing education and practice around the globe, Inspire provides innovative and highly regarded competency assessments that measure an applicant’s current nursing abilities against the skills and knowledge required to practice in provincial and territorial health-care systems, while also meeting Canadian standards.
By equipping regulators with thorough, evidence-based information, Inspire’s assessments play a pivotal role in the college’s making vital licensing decisions. Moreover, these assessments help identify any gaps in competencies, offering applicants a clear path to address areas that may require additional education or training — ultimately supporting workforce readiness.
“Our partnership with CRNM reflects our mutual dedication to having reliable, evidence-informed information for the college to use to make informed, public-focused regulatory decisions,” says Tammy Matheson, Director of Operations at Inspire. “We are working closely with CRNM to ensure a smooth transition and minimize any disruption to their competency assessment process.”
This partnership marks Inspire’s latest expansion within Canada, building on its work with health profession regulators in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.
